Connections Early Years Family Centre is a progressive family-centered organization providing integrated support, learning and early identification and intervention services to advance the healthy development of families and their children 0-6 years in Windsor-Essex County.

Registered Early Childhood Educator

Hours:

  • 35 hours per week/52 weeks
  • Evenings and weekends may be necessary on occasion

Qualifications:

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
  • Experience working with families in an EarlyON or similar setting is an asset
  • First Aid and Infant/Child CPR Certificates
  • Second language an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Community Speech and Language Pathologist

Hours:

  • 35 hours per week (a 9-day schedule may apply)
  • Evenings and weekends may be necessary on occasion

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Related experience, preferably in a pediatric setting
  • Certification with Hanen Centre is considered an asset

 

Communicative Disorders Assistant

Hours:

  • 35 hours per week/52 weeks
  • Evenings and weekends may be necessary on occasion

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary undergraduate degree/diploma
  • Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) Diploma OR completion of the one year post graduate CDA Program
  • Relevant internship/placement education experience
  • Experience working with preschool children and families
  • Eligibility for membership in the Communicative Disorders Assistants Association of Canada (CDAAC)
