Our Impact
Connections Early Years Family Centre has provided 50 years of support to the families and communities of Windsor-Essex. At Connections, you can watch your child interact with the world, discover new things, and develop as a family – all at no cost. We are a safe and supportive space for families to find belonging, community, and connection.
We do what we do because we believe supporting families builds a stronger, more connected community. Our organization touches lives in ways we hear about not only in the moment, but sometimes decades later.

Connections is for everyone.
At Connections, we provide welcoming, play-based opportunities for all families to come together and exchange support. Our programs and services are flexible and respond to the unique needs of families with young children. We focus on supporting healthy child development and family wellbeing, helping parents and caregivers build social networks, and enhancing the strengths and capacity of individuals, families, and our communities.
We believe profoundly in mutual respect and kindness as the foundation of all our interactions; when someone is at Connections, they know they are welcome here.
Every one of our staff are dedicated to spending time with you to provide whatever you may need in the moment – a friendly face, an understanding ear, extra arms, a clean and cheerful place to come and play with your children, someone to evaluate their speech and language, or information on their development or specialized services you can access from other agencies in the city.
Through play, we facilitate social connections between families. We celebrate the diversity of the world and are committed to fostering environments and programs that are accessible, equitable, diverse, inclusive and celebrate different ways of knowing.
